they transfer everything to your new passport. Even the last entry stamp and the stamp you entered on before you got your Non-O. Before they issue an extension in your new passport the stamps related to your non O have to be transferred
I just did mine in Chiang Mai. My understanding is you are supposed to transfer the visa/extension and other stamps to your new passport as soon as you receive it. The extension in your new passport mentions your old passport number. Your old passport has a stamp in it which mentions your new passport number. So kind of linked
thanks Tod. Good advice as always. Just another question if you don’t mind. I just realise my passport expires end of Feb 2026. Is there any requirement for the passport validity ?
