As long as your visa is in date when you return you won’t need to renew it but you will need to reapply for a COE to enter Thailand once you leave.

You might want to consider also that if you’re not valid to ride that bike and you have an accident then you’ll have no insurance.

 it seems to have changed recently and become harder to leave Oz. I went back to Thailand in October with no issues getting out other than saying I’d be gone for the 3 month minimum. Just got back to Oz last week. 🤦‍♂️
