I had to take in two when I got both. No idea why but was told that I needed two once again in Krabi.

no need to get your knickers in a knot. There is an international drivers license Australians can purchase from the post office in Australia.

Krabi can be difficult and different to other places in Thailand. I’ve done it there 3 times and each time it has been different. 🤦‍♂️

not quite true. If you get your international driver’s license before you leave your home country it needs to state that you have both car and motorcycle licenses to get both here in Thailand otherwise you’ll only be allowed the one that you have in your home country.

Thailand has recently said that they are looking into travel bubbles between them and countries that are managing well with Covid and have also started rolling out the vaccine but this will take time and for the moment it’s a 15 night 16 day quarantine. I can’t see anything changing until at least the end of the year. I hope it is sooner.

unless it’s changed it was only allowed with a repatriation flight.

yes but like I said previously State Quarantine is only available with a repatriation flight so the flight must be one.
