Sure they have to do the same quarantine. There is no advantage if you are vaccinated. Some experts even warned from vaccinated people. Because if they get the virus. Mutations they spread are much more powerful than the original virus. They know from tests with animals. When they tested vaccines for older SARS viruses. Now they didn't do this tests. Because it means to pass the Corona virus to healthy vaccinated humans.

The short answer to your question is ‘no’. In Thailand the majority of transmissions occur in the community. Some will be from those in ASQ facilities. Most countries have unique indicators and things like security of borders, mask wearing and lockdown adherence have a significant impact. Currently in NZ and Australia, community covid transmissions are rare with most cases flying in and staying in ASQ facilities.

Thais that are repatriated can go in to state quarantine or choose to pay for an ASQ. Thais that fly in commercially must use ASQ.
Regardless of repatriation or commercial flight, Thais are not required to have a negative Covid test before flying, just a fit to fly certificate. A lot of them receive their first Covid test ever while in quarantine. I’m not privy to the data, but it seems reasonable that quite a few positives show up in quarantine as a result of this variable… untested people flying with tested people for half a day or more in a metal tube. Not a lot of complex math on this one…

spot on.👍RT-PCR test is the most widespread, mis-used, inappropriate diagnostic instrument in history and was never meant to be used as a tool for SARS Cov.2 (Covid-19).
At this point they could be looking at any number of viral infections the person had from the past or present and achieve any result they want to portray by increasing or decreasing test cycle thresholds. Kary Mullis, the inventor of the test would be bitterly disappointed with it's mis-use, if he was still alive. Unfortunately he died in 2019.
I went through ASQ process to come to Thailand. I was tested in Australia within 72 hours of flying out. I got to the hotel in Thailand for 14 days solitary confinement. Constant temperature, blood pressure checks and 2 further RT-PCR tests in quarantine....how the hell are these foreigners slipping through all these requirements and returning a positive result.
