If possible, it's probably safer just to always keep 20k baht on you these days imo

Jason Silverman it's pretty easy to know that I mean Ed visa through a muay thai academy approved by the MoE. Geez

Given that, it makes sense to always keep it legit with your proof of onward travel. Purchase an open/refundable ticket and always be ready to provide it (at the consulate and at immigration on the way in)

Glen Yeah, I asked about that specifically and they said in the case of a visa exemption/SETV upon entry into the country at immigration, they've never heard of anyone asking for proof of accommodation at the airport.

I think when applying for the SETV/METV at the embassies abroad, they'll ask, yeah. Also possibly entries for other types of visas maybe? I'm not sure. But I specifically asked this question and that's what I was told regarding exemptions and SETV only. If I'm mistaken/wrong, my apologies.

I've never been asked for either upon entry.

I was told in this group that they don't ask for accommodation proof in this case. Just the 20k thb and onward travel, IF they decide to ask

Oh one more question on this, if you happen to know
@Tod ********
. Is this ed visa extension something that could be done at the Bumrungrad Hospital business center instead of the main immigration location?

I did my recent 30 day extension there and it was a pleasurable experience. If this

extension can be done there, that would be awesome.
