Fall back is I travel back up to BKK and do the first one at my usual government building as I still have the apartment for that month. They like the first one when you return to be in person and then online okay.

Just take your actual visa into the bank. The passport is just a verification of entry on what basis. The bank will need your long term visa, passport and proof of residency.

Savings account here is a current account as per UK without the option of a credit card.

I took my decision to use Kasikorn bank at the time as they had more ATMs. All my experiences have been great and I even opened another bank account ( as I wanted to build money for future use) with them and linked it to my app.

Bangkok bank flipped to harsh as the government told them to clean up their act as in the past they were easy and they hooked Falange to take out insurance ( which was an official bribe)
