Anyone have advice on supplements you can take into Thailand. Have heart disease and take no prescription drugs but vitamins and amino acids. Have retirement visa, Thai wife etc.....travelling from the UK....constructive knowledge and previous experience appreciated.
hi - in december 2024 i returned to australia to live permamently for medical reasons - in mid july 2025 i came to thailand for a holiday and visit friends - i previously had a retirement visa for a number of years which expires on 21 september and i will not renew it - i plan to travel to vientiane laos on 19 september to visit a friend and return to thailand on 26 september via nong khai immigration and get a 60 exempt visa before i return to oz - anyone see a problem with this - cheers
Do I need to show a booked flight to Thailand when applying for DTV?
I'm planning to apply this week but my flight booking will not be for two months and I'm not sure when travel time will be or what country i will be in when I decide to travel to Thailand.
I entered Vietnam through Tan Son Nhat Airport in Ho Chi Minh and applied for a DTV there, but unfortunately, my application was rejected without any given reason.
I would like to ask if it is possible for me to apply for a TR visa in Hanoi, and whether I am allowed to travel to Thailand from Vietnam in my current situation.Thanks.
Calling all Thailand adventurers and DTV holders! 🇹🇭
I'm currently planning my trip to Thailand on the Destination Thailand Visa (DTV) and looking for some wisdom from this fantastic group! 🙏
While the DTV doesn't always have strict health insurance mandates, I definitely want to be prepared for any unexpected bumps in the road.
For those of you who have obtained or are planning to use the DTV, what travel insurance providers have you found to be the best for basic coverage?
Specifically, I'm hoping to hear about plans that effectively cover:
* Medical emergencies (hospitalization, doctor visits)
* Emergency evacuation (just in case!)
* Repatriation of remains (always important to have this covered, even if you hope to never need it)
Bonus points for any providers that are known for good customer service or easy claims processes, especially if you've had to use them while in Thailand.
