Last i checked, proving your income is not a requirement. You need to provide bank statements to proof you have the required 500k thb in your account.

In my case I am self employed so I provided incorporation document and screenshots of my website and portfolio.

Its not a joke lol. You either extend at immigration and have to provide all documents again or you leave the country and come back (border run). Those are your options. Good luck.

Yes I have. Just leave the country to cancel the visa. Yes you can only apply from an embassy outside of Thailand.

If you applied on May 20 then today is the tenth business day as June 2 and 3 were holidays and day of application does not count.

I got mine in cambodia on the tenth business day. I received it in the evening too at a time you would not expect it. So I would guess you'll get it tonight or tomorrow. Good luck!
