I was going to say this. There were many, but for 12 years I listened to people ask “what beer do you sell” when arriving at the bar, with all the beers clearly labelled with shiny, bright, white lights in front of them. Or “where is the toilet”, while standing in front of 1 of 12 signs and arrows.

Dealing with the general public on a daily basis is soul sucking. I too would give back the same attitude I was being dealt.🤣

This is after security too, I was surprised myself!

There’s actually a smoking area on level one (ground) near gate 10 I think it is. Very small outside tucked away area right at the end of the airport. Or there was last month. I’m not sure why everyone needs to comment on “should quit”, if someone chooses to smoke they choose to smoke and it was just a question

It’s also a legitimate reservation - it just expires if you don’t actually book it. I did mine the day before my flight 🙏

should do the trick and they send you a pdf of an actual ticket reservation. They have examples on the site - worked at BKK airport for me!

it is, but I understand it’s their job and I’ve been given more than enough time here haha. I’m an absolute wimp with authorities anywhere, I don’t know why I don’t break the law 🤣

I’m in a similar but worse boat 🤣 I go back to the UK for 2.5 weeks tonorrow and I’ve been here since January bar 16 days in Bali. When I booked the trip back I never expected I’d have stayed this long, so what can ya do. I also return to BKK airport and am expecting to be denied. All you can do is have the three proofs, be polite and if questioned be honest.

I was questioned returning from Bali and after telling the truth about being a lazy tourist and showing my flight out I was let in 🙂
