And how about a marriage visa ? I know its 400k , is there a limit that it can not drop below after the extension is granted ?

well, I can’t speak to AO NANG, but Cha Am has the train and very close to the growing HH airport.

Beach is clean and very quiet during the weekdays

depending on what you want to spend, Cha Am is Much cheaper and only a 20 minute drive from HH. I lived there for 12 years and loved it.

. Well maybe I should get a print out from the US government showing the transfer to my Thai bank account on the last day of every month, and then the Thai bank not processing it until a later date. No, I’m sure that wouldn’t work either as it require some understanding of the banking system, or a nice or a$$ IO

I can’t. It’s a monthly government payment on the 30 or 31st of each month. When that day falls on a Friday, Bangkok bank doesn’t process it until Monday, unless Monday is a holiday. So sometimes I don’t get paid until the 1st-3rd.

So I can’t change the deposit dates

I have a question about this. I’m paid my pension on the last day of every month. However, if this day falls on a Thai holiday or a weekend, sometimes I wind up with no deposit for the month and two deposits in the next month. The beginning and the end of the month. My bank statement shows 12 deposits a year, sometimes 13. Does this pose a problem ?
