Quick question, filed and got my 90 day non o based on marriage. I go back at the end of the month to apply for my 1 year extension. After I do that, am I allowed to take out some of my 400k or do I have to wait until the 1 year extension is granted ?

TLDR : Answer Summary
After applying for your 1-year extension on the Non-O visa based on marriage, it is advised to wait until the extension is officially stamped into your passport before withdrawing any funds from your 400,000 THB. Once you have the extension, you can use the funds but must ensure that the balance returns to 400,000 THB at least 2 full months before your next extension application.

You should wait until you have the full extension stamped into your passport. Then you're free to spend everything and just have it back to 400,000 before next year's extension. 2 full months before you apply for your extension, not before the end of your extension.

next year, will I be able to apply with the more than 40k per month method, or does the second year have to be 400k again ?

@Terry *******
make sure you have 12 monthly deposits of 40k minimum on the day you apply for your second extension

as long as you can show the deposits or have embassy certified income
