I would like to know if after I submit my paperwork my Non-O based on marriage , may I take out some of the money in my bank account, before the visa is stamped ?

Or do they check my account again ?

Thanks

TLDR : Answer Summary
The consensus among commenters is that you should not withdraw any money from your bank account until your Non-O visa based on marriage is officially stamped in your passport. Immigration may check your bank account again during the extension process, and it's crucial to maintain the required balance (400,000 baht) for the entire duration leading up to and after the visa application.

No it freeze for a month

If you are talking about after initial non-o visa 90 day, the money must be in the bank 60 days before application for the 1yr extension.

So if you use some of it and miscalculated you'd be out of luck on the extension.

I would leave it alone till the 1yr is approved and stamped.

IMHO

yeah confusing to find the right wording. But you’re correct, already done the non-o visa and was approved. Money has stayed in the bank the whole time and will until I apply for the extension

once the 1yr extension is approved and inked... spend away!

Don't remove any money until you get the stamp in your passport. Are you not doing the 12 month extension because, if so, the money will need to be 400k again in a month or so?

I’m doing the 12 month now. At the end of the month I take in my paperwork and bank book again for the 12 month application.

Ok great, so they MAY request it to remain in or they may not. When I go back in, I’ll just ask them if I can use some of it and see what they say

it depends on the immigration office. The main office at Chaing Watthana did not want to see my updated bank book on the day I got my actual yearly stamp, that they wanted to see last year, and no one else in the queue for their stamp were asked a week ago, but this is not saying other immigration offices don't want to see either. It is best to not take a chance

400k 2 month's prior is for the yearly extention of stay, there's no seasoning required for the non imm O visa.

@Steve ******
there is but that apparently depends on where you are from. I am right now applying for the non o based on marriage from Denmark and there was this requirement regarding the seasoning or requirement regarding monthly income!

yeah, I’ve had it well over the two month period. Next step is going in for the 45 days ,prior to my 90 day expires to give all my paperwork a second time for the new visa
