What is the process for obtaining a bank statement letter for immigration in Thailand?

Hey guys, I’m just curious if anyone has a sample letter of the bonk statement ( that it’s my account, and how much I have etc.). I always have a hard time explaining to SCB what I need for immigration.

Getting the 12 month statement is no problem. It’s just that letter immigration requires from the bank on the same day

Thanks in advance

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user seeks guidance on how to obtain a specific bank letter from SCB for Thai immigration purposes, detailing what the letter should include (account name, number, and balance confirmation) and the importance of requesting it on the same day as the immigration appointment. Several respondents share tips such as asking directly at the bank, being aware of potential fees, and suggesting to inquire with immigration for a template to show the bank. There is also a humorous comment about the challenges faced in getting this assistance online.

Get a bank certification showing your name and funds you have with them.

yes I know, but some banks don’t understand what I’m asking for. Anyways, got a great example earlier to show them. And I think I’ll just go to one of the SCB’ s near CW

God i feel for any one asking for advice on this site the comments are beyond rude , unhelpful, angry and just not of any value. What is wrong with you people. You don’t want to help go away and annoy other sites. This group used to be good now it’s just nasty old people with clever comments and no help whatsoever. What a shame

Maybe go to immigration ask them to give you written instructions for the bank. They may have this already to help foreigners that may have the same problem.

My bank always immediately understood what I needed until the last occasion. They asked; ‘for Thai immigration?’.
