since November, was an easy 2yr transfer type licence from UK. You will also need a separate residence certificate for this for the DLT. So be sure to get 2, 1 for buying the bike, the other to get a licence. Each certificate expires after 30days from issue date.

Bought a bike November, got insurance no issues, I did need to produce a residence certificate, which is easy enough from immigration.

I applied down the savings route, joined PDFs together and added a note saying I keep my funds separate to my current account. Worked.

Worth reaching out to the UK Thai embassy 1st, I only say that as I applied from Spain, even though I am UK citizen.

I use my WISE account, I also get paid in USD. Can pay in many places with card, I usually pull out cash for things like food and drink. Can pay people without QR as long as they can share their account number, works the same, just takes an extra minute or so to do. Not all that bad 👍

My partner got a DTV doing very similar, YT Channel and Online course plus 1 to 1 sessions online. We both applied separately (I contract for a US based start up). As long as you can show income coming in, you should be alright.

We applied from the Spain Thai Embassy, and we're both British, so it will be different, but as long as you have a easy to follow trail, should be all good
