Hi
@Manu ***
, sorry I don't fully understand your question... Do you mean is there a time limit from when you get approved and go to Thailand?

If I am understanding correctly, the answer is you have until your DTV expires, eg 5 years.

So you can apply now, get approved and decide to go whenever or as many times as you want to in the 5 years.

If you haven't watched this about the DTV, I watched this and immediately applied afterwards. Give it a watch, it's an exclusive interview with the man in the Thai Government who oversees the entire Visa program.

You can do it online too, but I think the only thing is you may need to show proof of where you are living... I did mine from Madrid, and just provided my Airbnb (the have travel option to prove you are staying there). I know some friends did it from their home country (applied with VPN set to home country).

@Greg *******
yep, they ask for long term visa, show them the DTV and then they get confused. 1 of them was aware and said they are waiting to learn more but currently cannot offer an account.

In the last 2 days, I have tried 2 KBanks and 2 Bangkok Banks, so far they all said no, seems like the DTV is so new they are not sure yet.

Will keep trying.

Think you can, my understanding is as long as you have the funds and and you can show and prove how the money comes in, you'll be fine. The emphasis is on the having the required money Sat in your saving/current account.
