Ivan McAvinchey Do you mean there is still no official solution for people to stay? They can certainly leave, which is what the Thai immigration has said to prepare for, for months.
I do understand people wanting to stay, and chancing that the Government may give yet another generous extension. However, that’s a risk and a personal choice.
If the time is up, well, just be grateful that a lengthy extension has been enjoyed
I understand that some people may not be too concerned about the quarantine in Thailand, but I would be very surprised if they were ok with having to quarantine, as well, in their own country for 2 weeks before flying. I think people who are really keen to get here will jump at any new idea before researching the actual details. I mean it costs nothing to register an interest.
As you say, nothing is firm until it’s gazetted, and I expect this new brainwave will fall down, like many others.
