TLDR : Answer Summary
A visitor from the UK inquiring about a 2-week trip to Thailand in December is likely to face difficulties due to current travel regulations. Many comments suggest that, under existing rules, a quarantine period of at least two weeks in a government-approved hotel would be mandatory upon arrival in Thailand. Most community responses indicate that short visits are not feasible, especially with ongoing restrictions related to COVID-19, leading to the conclusion that such a trip is currently not advisable.

No problem if your on qualifing list...But you will need 6 weeks holiday...2 weeks quarantine in Thailand on arrival ..2 weeks holiday of your choice....2 weeks quarantine in UK when you return ( believe me the quarantine will be back for the UK in December) 🤔
Paulie **********
The only reason uk would put Thailand back on the list in December is if Thailand had a massive amount of Covid-19. Its not that difficult to understand 🤣🤣
Dave ***********
@Harry ***********
....Or the Government woke up one morning and thought " Fuck it Put Thailand back on The Quarantine List"

We don't need to explain ourselves 😂

That is less difficult to understand you Harrington Prick.
Martin *********
@Stephen ***********
Thailand has been put on the list of non quarantine when arriving back in the UK.
Stephen ************

BKK Airways were quoted at a Chamber of Commerce meeting recently as saying their international flights would not open up until at least April. And even then I would add months. Save your pennies and your anxiety.

Two weeks? Not a chance I’m afraid. They’re trying to push a 9 months visa but their mathematics around it are absurd.

William Davies where did you get this info from?
Bob *********
If you have to quarantine for two weeks what difference does it make which country you come from?
Bim *******
@Bob ********
it doesn't but the Thai government have only ever talked about low risk countries being a priority and the UK won't be considered one.
Bobby ********
@Bob ********
. Cashed up Chinese will come for three months minimum.

I understand Daniel
Greg ********
Not possible
Mike ********
NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO !
Daniel ************
possible - If you pay hotel for 3 months and go 15 days into quarantine - if that

make sense to you - welcome to apply soon-
Anne ********
Where did you hear that it is starting on 1 October? As I said, it hasn’t been gazetted yet, so....
Bobby ********
@Daniel ***********
. Not letting anyone in from England in the first wave.
Daniel ************
@Bobby *******
that might be another problem - yes -
Helena ********
@Daniel ***********
he said only two weeks
Daniel ************
@Helena **********************
yes - but he can only enter with STV and they require 3 months hotel booking and paid or own condo - 😉 - and of course there is quarantine - so it would be enter - quarantine - fly back 😉
Anne ********
@Daniel ***********
STV hasn’t been gazetted yet. It has only been approved by the Cabinet. Still a long way to go before this is available
Daniel ************
@Anne *******
nope - starting 1.October - or some days later after MFA informs embassy - but yes - might take some more days until the first 100 people arrive 😉 -
Helena ********
@Daniel ***********
so if he wants just two weeks, the answer is NO, he can't.
