You haven't said what bank you opened with. Bangkok Bank is super dicey. Who knows what the other banks may do in the near future but as of now if you have to go into the bank and update your information you're playing with fire.

Check your facts, your friend didn't get their DTV approved on December 25th Santa.

Maybe you are mistaking a permission to stay stamp validity with a visa validity.
