Can I change my DTV course from muay thai to a cooking class after initial approval?

Dtv soft power.

Has anyone gotten their dtv approved for 1 course but then decided to change to another one? I initially signed up for muay thai 9 months but hurt my self and the doctor advised to stop for at least 6 months and then review. I'm thinking of changing over to an approved cooking class instead, but not sure if that's allowed

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is inquiring about the possibility of changing their DTV (Thai education visa) course from muay thai to a cooking class due to a doctor's advice to stop training for at least six months following an injury. Community members have responded by reassuring the user that there are no strict monitoring requirements and that as long as the initial course was purchased, it is permissible to switch courses without consequence.

You are not required to attend the courses, only to have purchased one.

Like a "gym" membership, you don't have to go but you have it.

You have nothing to worry about.

The only conditions are during the application process and if you choose to do an extension within Thailand at immigration.
