Hi all, i read on here previously that you can book a time slot 14 days in advance to speed up the process to file 90 day report in Bangkok, cant seem to find any information about it online can anybody help?
It's my first time reporting so needs to be in person, there seems to be 2 slightly different addresses online does anybody know which i need to go to as a foreigner living here on a DTV?
I've just tried registering my dtac for my return to Thailand arriving 11th. It works fine until I put in leaving UK on the 10th, then says it won't accept that date, and turns red. It's now the 8th. I tried it again on the 9th, and again it accepts arriving on 11th, but not leaving on the 10th. So I've had to put leaving and arriving on 11th, which it accepts. I've now got my qr code but my departure date is wrong.
Hey all...quick question. Once I'm approved for my DTV, is there a time frame that I need to enter Thailand? I.e. within 4 weeks?
I assume not and the 5 years just starts? Basically, I'm going to be in Hanoi and was gonna just do it then but I probably wont be back in Thailand for a few months.
Quick question, I am based in Sathon, Bangkok and need to do my 90-day report. I know the main Immigration Office is at Chaeng Watthana rd, but I’m wondering if there’s anywhere closer for us in central Bangkok?
Hello everyone quick question. When doing the TDAC when we fill out the question that asks for visa no. do we fill in our re-entry permit number or visa number?
Also when we fill out the "country/territory of residence" portion do we put our thai address or home country address? In the past I think I used my home country.
My sig other created an account on the web site so she can register me when I'm here and I can then do my 90 day reporting, actually I did most of the work, submitted everything asked for and that was last Thursday. Any ideas on the average wait period so she can finish getting the account setup and register me when I arrive? I'm out of Thailand right now but will be there Thursday night and was hoping it'd be ready to go by then.
Hi! I have the DTV on my current passport. However, my passport is almost full and I’m about to renew it. How will this affect the approval page that I submit at immigration in the airport? It has my current passport number and I’m worried it may cause problems once I have a new passport. Has anyone walked through this yet? Can I do something at immigration? Or is it not a problem as long as my visa gets moved to my new passport? Thanks!
Hi everyone! I'm here on my second 60-day visa exempt stay. The first time, I visited January - March for 54 days. I came back April 29, and my passport is stamped to exit by June 27. I'd like to extend for an additional 30 days. So I have three questions:
1. Will I have any problems getting the extension?
2. What's the soonest I can go to the immigration office to get the extension - can I go next week or do I have to wait until I'm closer to my exit date?
3. Is there some other way I should go about getting the extension?
Arrived in Thailand 28th Feb an got a 60 days visa at Bangkok airport.
This is my experience at the Thai, Laos Vientiane crossing these past few days on a visa bounce.
Left Thailand on 25th April. The Thai immigration officer said I could not return as they were clamping down on visa bounce however she did not red flag me in the system. She told me to take a chance and it was the returning visa officers decision whether I could enter or notm
On 29th I returned and once again the visa officer stated I could not enter. However my wife of 38yrs explained I had a return ticket to the USA and that next visit would be on a non O visa obtained in Washington. Phew! Luckily he accepted this and stamped me for a further 60 days we had our house blue book, marriage cert and my ticket. Preparation I believe helped.
