What should I do if my Thai visa was rejected and my tourist visa is about to expire while I'm in Cambodia?
Hi everyone, I am in a bit of tricky situation and I need some help. My visa was rejected today and I need to apply another one in cambodia. The problem is that my tourist visa for 1 month will expire at 13th so on my location indicator file, should I just insert my current tourist visa or wait until my tourist visa is extended. I am in a bit of hurry in timeline so I am lost here. Please help.

Extend your Cambodian visa! Another option is, cross into Thailand or another country come back to Cambodia with an E category visa, extend that for 6 months and then you'll have plenty of time to apply for your DTV without worrying about your Cambodian visa expiring.

If they've rejected you once, they'll reject you again. Go to Laos; it's cheap, it's not far from you, and you have a better chance

Do you know why your application was rejected? Have a way to fix it for next application? If you are extending your Cambodian visa, would it be the same visa though, just an extension stamp?

Anonymous participant 676 first off, a cancelation is different than a rejection. In the cancelation, some embassies supply the reason why in the notice, while others don’t.

Anonymous participant 676 Cancellations are related to errors/mistakes in the online application (or applying from the wrong location) while rejections are related to embassy deciding you don’t meet the visa requirements.

Anonymous participant I'd include a cover letter in my application saying this is my second application due to mistake in my passport expiry and please consider moving my application as fast as possible as my Cambodian visa will expire soon
