Can I get my visa approval email on weekends or government holidays?
Can I expect to get approval email on weekends and government holidays?
Answer summary
Responses vary regarding the likelihood of receiving visa approval emails on weekends and government holidays. Some users report receiving their approval on weekends or even national holidays, while others believe it is unlikely. Several comments suggest that there might be a delay between the visa approval by embassy staff and the actual receipt of the approval email, which can lead to approvals appearing to come on non-working days.

Yes. My approval was granted on an official national holiday of the HOST country (it wasn't a holiday in Thailand, tho).

So Embassy staff don’t work on the weekends, but it seems that their is a delay between the embassy staff approving the visa and you receiving the approval. This results in receiving the approval email on the weekend.

Yes my approval email came on a Sunday morning when I applied in Australia.
I don't know why people in the comments are saying no cause heaps of people get the approval on the weekends
