them questioning or denying entry to probably 0.001% of daily visitors isn't going to cripple the industry.

For what it's worth I entered Thailand about 14 times last year, maximum stay of 3 weeks but usually just there for long weekends.

Previously lived and worked there, legally and not on visa exemptions or tourist visas, for 3 years. Never been questioned once, including my most recent entry 10 days ago.

based on his previous posts about spending about 4-5 months in Thailand last year and most of this year already too, he probably wants to have the flight out, 20k THB, and proof of accommodation to hand.

they only wouldn't enter Thailand if they had a transit in Bangkok. By the sounds of it the OP doesn't, so he'll be entering Thailand in order to get his flight to India.

you could be a UK resident from as little as 15 or 30 days depending upon the number of ties.

Assuming you have a British passport then you can enter 45 days visa exempt. No limitation on days outside before returning.
