[members only] - latest from Richard Barrow on the CCSA meeting today. Remember until it's been published in the Royal Gazette then it's not official. Proposal is to reduce down to 10 days from 1 April for most people. 7 days is further down the line.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The latest update from Richard Barrow indicates a proposal to reduce the quarantine period in Thailand from 14 to 10 days for arrivals from low-risk countries starting April 1. However, additional conditions may apply, such as needing to have completed vaccination within three months of entering Thailand. The full details are not yet official until published in the Royal Gazette, leading to ongoing discussions and uncertainties among potential travelers about requirements such as 'fit to fly' certificates and the eligibility of those vaccinated months prior.

I thought they meant the medical certificate proving you had been vaccinated should be no older than 3 months. That would make sense I guess.

Let's try once more...

'The 14-day quarantine period would remain in places for arrivals from countries where the Covid-19 virus has mutated, which is a global concern', Dr Taweesilp said.

What if you had the vaccine 4-5mths prior,surely you would qualify . You certainly do NOT want to get vaccine again.FFS.

until it's published in the Royal Gazette it's just a proposal subject to change

When these options were first mooted it was suggested that the reduced period would only be for persons who could prove they'd had both doses of whatever vaccine BUT that would have had to have been administered within 3 months of entering Thailand. Be interesting to see where that one goes.
Ron *******
Low risk country's only. The rest continue on 14 days quarantine

@Ron ******
just like thailand considered Brazil a low risk country in nov/dec despite being top 5 globally in covid cases

best to wait until next week when they publish the list of country's that can reduce quarantine
