 I tried studying the Thai alphabet and grammar. Got pretty frustrated quickly and gave it up. I speak enough to get by. Could use more vocabulary.

 It's not expensive for me to travel to the Thai consulate here in Bali and requires no accommodation so I think I'll opt for that route. Thank you.
