Try Kasikorn Bank.

If all else fails open a 2nd joint account or 2nd account and give her access to it.

. Exactly. Passports are actually property of the holders government. Only police and Imm officers are allowed to take it from you directly.

. Probably using an "agent". Immigration never hold your passport if you deal direct.

. Some yes... vast majority don't. They make rules and regulations to manage the majority not a handful of individuals who try to find loopholes instead of doing what most do... a visa. Visa exempt means no visa.

no I'm not saying that.. I'm saying immigration prefer you pay for a tourist visa instead of using visa exempt, which is free, to stay long term. Thats all..

They look at your history, and if they see you bouncing in and out of thailand , not spending much time outside, they can suspect you are using it to stay long term. Most people who have done this and were questioned by imm eventually are told to get a VISA next time or face being denied entry next time. A visa of any type almost always avoids this.

. I've had same home adress on tm 30 for years. I've travelled around inside Thailand many timesand never had to redo it. A couple of years ago they changed the rule and a new tm30 is only required if you leave thailand and re enter. It used to be whenever you stayed away from tm30 adress but they finally saw how stupid it was and changed it.

It was stated in Royal Gazette of the change.

. He isn't using a ME tourist visa. He's bouncing on exempt it seems. He's a tourist so get a tourist visa.

. We would all be living here on tourist visas if it was that easy. It's immigration you need to convince. Tourist visas get a lot less scrutiny than visa exempt entries over and over again. It's how it looks to the imm officer when they look at your history. Any immigration in any country can refuse you entry as a tourist , they have total discretion, don't need a reason.

Get a tourist visa instead of bouncing on exempt and they are much more likely to leave you alone. Metv is actually cheaper in the long run

Getting the visa that actually matches your reason for being here so long will make these issues go away. Tourists don't spend 6 months in one country
