almost. The max stay in Thailand per year is 360 days (180d on visa, 180d on an extension) so you need to spend

days outside of Thailand per year.

not my understanding. Where have you got that from ? It is certainly not in the announcement or anything else issued that I have seen. They simply say you can do a 180d extension per year (so in total can stay for 360 days in a year), so it has been assumed as they do not refer to any new extension fee, that it is the same as all extensions at the moment - 1900 baht.

read his post again.

He asks about immigration on his return to Thailand. He already has the visa and the re-entry stamp.

Nothing. You have a multi-entry pass, so just go through passport control as normal.

Yes, i got a price for 1 night that was considerably less than the nightly rate on a 7 day booking. Even the first night was more than the price quoted for a single night booking for the same date !

So, I just made 7 single night bookings. Bit if a pain, but increases the admin overheads for them snd the hotel - so they might get the message then !

Sounds like your cards are marked in Thailand. Stay away for a while - like a year.

I left for Indonesia last week and went to ask Immigration whilst I was going through passport control. They told me there is no definite date yet, but they are aiming for early-mid July. They hope the date will be confirmed in the next couple of weeks.

You are playing with fire and should make sure you have contingency plans in the event of being turned away at the border.

Three times in 12 months is the supposed red line, though travelling by air does give you a bit of wiggle room more often than not. This is not universally applied, but you are now relying on being lucky enough to have a border check that is lenient.

Up to you sunshine …
