Probably not the smartest move, trying that on when they are requesting a confirmed ticket to your own country. If that comes to light, you will be in Malaysia longer than you planned for attempted fraud I would imagine.

Sorry off topic but to save starting another thread, I have a friend asking about the METV they was issuing in KL. I'm reading reports that it's no longer possible. Does anybody know 100% if this is correct?

I could call them but I never trust anybody on the phone who may or may not be qualified to answer.
