 no idea how far they look back. It's a new requirement they have only recently added.

Oh, one more thing people aren't aware of. Attempting to board a flight to Laos with an overstay stamp in your passport. That's generally a no go too.

Not forgetting Thailand Elite also now have the clause that you cannot apply for that visa with history of overstay.

I believe visa agents don't actually enter the consulate there any longer. From what i read, they run through your paperwork and arrange a taxi for you too go alone.
