Tyler Nolin I have never heard of a power shower either……showers normally just run off the mains water pressure or if poor pressure install a pump, but I don’t think that’s what a power shower means, confusing or what 😂🤣

I just got a new Passport in December in Australia when I went back for a visit….what Todd said is exactly correct, I just showed old and new passports to the Immigration Officer at the airport, no problems. Then I went to my Immigration Office to get my Extension of Stay stamps transferred to my new PP when I returned to my home, also you need to inform the TM30 section of your return and update your new PP with them (take note it’s is not Visa stamps being transferred as Todd always points out that they are Extensions of Stay🤣)……also you should take your new PP to your Bank to update them as well as they need to know when issuing your bank docs for proof of funds.

hi Paul…..how things change so quickly….I worked in both Manila and Phnom Penh pre- COVID days and at that time I can’t imagine either country having such technology at their airports…Thailand catching up with the rest of Asia it seems 😁…on a side note as a point of interest, I loved living/working in cambodia, very relaxed and friendly place

Hey Tod, at least I asked an unasked question, not repeated the same question 100 times 🤣🤣….. I just thought they look like QR scanners but as you say they are for completing the online form…makes sense 👍🏻

So what are the terminals shown in this picture? Do you have to scan these terminals with your phone your bar code or QR code, or whatever immigration sends you back after your have submitted your form…anybody know?

I do it online, so easy…..but 1st report after returning to Thailand must be in person.

On arrival back in Thailand you may need to report to immigration (within 1-2 days) that you are living back at your on-file address. I believe not all provinces demand this, but mine does (I’m in Korat) so may be best to ask your immigration office before you go.
