Thanks a lot for the clear explanation!!

I am not familiar with the re-entry permit.

When I get the re-entry permit, how long does it allow me to stay out of Thailand(will be going to France around 10-12 days).

When I get the stamp Admitted until 18 sep(example..), the Immigration at the airport will do it right?

Here is my situation.

-My visa exemption expires on June 18th.

-I will go to France around 10-12 of July.

-I am about to apply for a Non B visa 3 months in Penang, but will go to France mid july. So that would cancel my non B visa.

-I already have 2 entries BY LAND in my passport.

-And was just thinking to enter BY AIR before June 18th and get 30 days visa exemption.

Not sure what is the best choice? To enter BY AIR or to apply for the non B visa 3 months(then cancel after 3 weeks because going to France)...
