Hello,

My extension of stay (based on Non B visa) expires on August 28th.

I am aware the amnesty is until September 26th.

1) What will be my situation if I don't do anything with my visa after August 28th?

2) Can I apply for a new visa before September 26th?

Thank you!!!

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user's Non-B visa extension expires on August 28th, and they are concerned about their options before the amnesty deadline of September 26th. The comments clarify that the user will be in overstay if they do not take action by August 28th, though the amnesty allows them to leave before September 26th without penalty. However, failing to cancel their extension might complicate future visa applications. Additionally, they cannot convert their status from overstay to a new visa while still in Thailand.

1. You will be in overstay as your current Extension of Stay must be cancelled on the last day of employment,

But covered by the amnesty and you have to leave before 26 Sep

Not cancelling your Extension might give some problems if you decide to apply again in the future

2. No, you can not convert from overstay into a new visa inside Thailand,
