GGibsonn RRachell. The TM30 registers your current address. You are compelled to use the immigration office that represents your address. That's why

suggested you go check in at a hotel in another province, so that your registered address then becomes the hotel

Yeah, there's plenty of agents ready to take your money, which is fine if you want to avoid the crowds, then pay up to 10,000 baht for a 1,900 extension. But Please, don't come back to this group later and complain about paying 400 baht entry fee to a national park! 🤣

Paul V. Ripley. You can do it today. I've done mine 12 days out and no problem, although I prefer 14 days. You can track it. If you're in Bangkok it gets there the next day anyway.

Paul V. Ripley. If you live in Bangkok do it by mail! A stroll to your local post office. 70 baht in postage/copying. A stroll back home! Some people seem to really enjoy the trek up to MTT! I can't figure it out!
