You don’t send passport, just signed copy. You should send copy of TM30 if you have it.

Back in May Chiangmai was requiring white foreigners to be signed for by a Thai or else be locked up but I understand that’s finished and you can travel freely now.

TransferWise costs me about 1.5%, sending from USA either from USA bank to TransferWise balance, or directly. I had to do 2 transfers to get the ฿800k total
