For 90 day report, can it be done online for the first time? If not, is it a quick process at Chaeng Watthana? Any tips to make it a quick in and out trip. Time of day to go....?

TLDR : Answer Summary
The initial 90-day report cannot be done online; you must first submit a physical report to enter the immigration database. After that, online reporting is available. Many respondents suggest visiting the Chaeng Watthana office early to avoid long queues, or making an appointment in advance to expedite the process.

which is anecdotally interesting (sort of) BUT you can't use the online progrram if it's your first time doing a 90 day report :/

You need to get IN the data base with one report before you can use the online system ;)

why not just make an appointment and then rock up about 10 minutes before jump the whole queue and file your 90 day report?

here's the link to appointments in Bangkok

Can it be done from 15 days before the due date?

@Ste***
it's from 15 days before down until 7 days after your actual due date.

NOTE: if you go two weeks early, the next 90 day report will be due 89 days from that date (so you "lose" those two weeks)

You don’t send passport, just signed copy. You should send copy of TM30 if you have it.
