I understand that Article 27 of the Thai constitution says: “Unjust discrimination against a person on the grounds of differences in origin, race, language, sex, age, disability, physical or health condition, personal status, economic and social standing, religious belief, education, or political view which is not contrary to the provisions of the Constitution, or on any other grounds shall not be permitted.” I guess if pressed Thais would say their discrimination is justified 😂

I admit to not having read the comments, but even before the virus the Thai govt was cracking down on visa runners. It was getting harder before and the crackdowns will surely continue. Best get the proper visa for what you want to do.

Prices to Asia from the US for later this fall are cheap. I’ve seen SF/BKK for under usd$400. Several airlines are allowing no-charge changes if you book by June 30. The real question is what will the travel restrictions be in Thailand this fall?
