How does the 90-day reporting process for expats in Thailand work and what are the best places to get it done?

Well, whatever you might think of it, it now comes with free face masks :)

Just picked up my passport after 90 day report service (drop off Tuesday - Pick up Friday.) And let me put it like this: I'd rather go to Sathorn 10 times in a month than CW or MTT once in a lifetime.

(TM30 scheme remains a mystery, though.)

That sounds so much easier than doing it in two minutes behind my computer in my own home. NOT!

So let me get this right you go to an office to drop off your passport and then 3 days later you go and pick it up. That is better than just going to the immigration office and doing your 90 day report. Or better still spending a couple of minutes on the app.

I think I am loosing perspective. Must have been in the sun too long. 😂😂

What about tm30, Greg? You're in a position to sort that yourself?

Having some trouble understanding if I need to do it in Bangkok after a visit to another province.

Very good. My thing is getting to the place in Bangkok. It's a tedious journey. So I was just thrilled to have people do it for me :)

It was my first 90 day report. You can't do that online. Might try it in November, though.

My first 90 day reports done online. We normally travel often so no need to do it. During COVID the admin assistant at work asked for copies of passport then did the 90 day for about 15 of us. It is BOI company and no idea if that makes a difference. She just hands us the slip to keep in passport.

any business at Chaengwattana took all day, including travel from Sukhumvit area. I expect the new location is worse,

apologies. I just don't get the way fellow expats get so upset with 90 day reporting. Maybe because our immigration office I Phetchaburi is relatively small and they are happy to help out if I do have any issues.

I may feel differently if I lived in Bangkok or Pattaya, who knows.

MTT wasn't too bad for 90 day reporting as they had many officers on duty. However, it is not conveniently located for most Bangkok residents. Also, reminder to those who took advantage of Amnesty and delayed 90 day reporting that it is due by the end of this month.

That's a good trick. I've done many tourist extensions there. Anything to avoid Chaengwattana :)

ahh, gotcha, I deleted my comment.

So the highly illusionary thai elite company in their benevolence has deigned to hand out Thai Elite logo'd face masks so their members will promote the program subliminally :P(y)

Christ that's almost as bad as me wearing a KISS t-shirt every day :O

I've seen something similar. And it would make sense, I guess.

My total back in April-May was ~6 weeks.
