I'm in the US now so do I apply for the Non-O from here and then go to Thailand and get a visa agent when I'm there to complete the process? Or get a visa agent from here in the US when I apply?
I am looking to maybe apply for the O Retirement when I go to Thailand again at the end of the year as opposed to the O-A from the US as it's more difficult. What do you think?
Aren't the health insurance and income requirements stricter? Also you have to put 800k baht into a Thai bank which seems difficult and risky. Also you have to renew the retirement visa each year as opposed to 5 years with DTV right?
I am in a similar situation. I had some dental work done for a crown and need some additional work (future implant and crown). I got the work done at a government dental office and got a signed and officially stamped letter from them saying I should get an implant done on my next visit, however there are so specific dates or payments. I am currently in Vietnam and wondering if I should apply online, seems like a

shot I have at getting the DTV visa at best. Maybe a gamble worth the $300. What do you think?
I got a crown done at a government dentist office, I need to do some more work and they said they would provide documents. Mahidol University Dental Hospital off the National Monument BTS stop.
Thank you for posting this even though some people here are being dic*s. I am also looking to get the DTV and move to Thailand. I found some information from your post useful.
