Well tell the poster the exact branch and what documents he needs to take along.

Maybe just me but I would never use a non-Thai agent for this. The Thai's can have contacts just not available to foreigners.

Anonymous participant It is not normal - there are too many scam artists acting as agents popping up. The vast majority seem to be Non-Thai

They changed their mind a couple of times. I submitted new one in October 2023 and accepted. I went to do it again in Feb 2024 and sent away saying no need. Never did it again and never brought up or an issue at 90 day reports. Chiang Mai agent does it for me day after I arrive back as they want it here

All you can really do is apply elsewhere. You can also pay to have an agent check them over - some offer money back guarantee

It is a while ago now but I am sure someone got a 5 year on DTV up in Chiang Mai. You know the next sentence - it is going to depend on the DLT Office :-)

@Oli ******
You will not get a 5 year renewal on a Tourist Visa or Visa Exempt - only another 2 year.
Greg ********
It can depend on which office if you are returning to same address. For example in Jomtien no need to update TM30 but in Chiang Mai it must be done - "This is Thailand" :-)

Anonymous participant I mean how hard would it have to have a note on the DTV Visa when issued? Something like "NB: if staying 90 consecutive days in Thailand you must do 90 Day report at immigration"
