Yup. It is just the wording in this BP article. The tax changes have been a disaster and they would rather have the money in the country being spent or available to lend than the smaller tax receipts.

I needed VE so I could get a B. Singapore would not process application for B while on a live O. In the end I had to pay a facilitation fee for the Immigration Office to cancel the O. Had 7 days to leave country. Did border run to Cambodia and came back on VE. Flew to Singapore got a 90 day B. Came back to Thailand had had B extended to 2 years with a WP. I got 2 free expense paid trips to Singapore out of it though :-)

I once asked to come in on Visa Exempt while on an O with multi-entry. Immigration told me it could not be done.

You might wish to contact an agent with "Contacts" in Immigration. They can check to see if there is any note on your record as if Ankara have done this it could effect applications elsewhere.

He will NOT have to open branch office in Thailand. You could not work from that office on the DTV if there was one.

First one must be in person or by post. 2nd one can be online but if you leave country and come back it resets ie the first report has to be in person again

Luckily they do not seem to ban for dubious documents. They would have told you. Do that for a British visa and 10 year ban for applying for a visa.

You are meant to stay in the country you applied while you visa is being processed. If they look through your passport at interview and see Thai stamps you are in danger of visa rejection.
