Depending on what u need/age etc take a look at Genki. Wont work for everyone but does for me! €60 odd a month and can cancel at anytime and covers pretty much the same as the big boys. I have a referral code should you need

so maybe better to go onto it now and then already have the 5 years issued? Why wait 2-3 months for them to maybe make it harder?

Dont think so as I have the same conundrum with Non B visa. Think need to cancel before applying for DTV

true but what about if a new ‘nomad’ applies who is just starting out and maybe doesnt have returns etc? Tricky one and its all down to the embassy

true. I guess it depends on what embassy apply at too. It does not actually specify you need to show income though just the 500k and that you can work as freelance/remotely.

there is no income requirement as far as I know. Just the 500k THB or equivalent in bank account
