To update just departure card and original receipt. No need passport.

Can even give that to someone else to do it for you.

not all hotels will actually file the TM30 like they are supposed to btw. If you need one it's your responsibility to make sure one has been filed for you. Immigration will most likely fine you.

By law you have to BUT you probably don't need to do it (and Noone will care) unless you are going to do anything with immigration.

Proof of funds can be in any currency. But it needs to be cash if you're ever asked to show it (rarely asked).

VOA is 10k baht

Visa Exempt or Visa = 20k baht
