Muay Thai or Thai language.

Or if you’re loaded, go for the elite visa.

Was wondering how strict they are with documentation (particularly accomodation - as will be many parts of thailand, and I travel with little plans)?

About to make a visa in Denpasar soon

No need to put a guarantor unless they ask specifically. I didn't even put one with a non-immigrant visa.

Airports which open 24 hours do. You have a valid boarding pass so youre allowed to go airside. Its not uncommon to spend 24 hours in a transit area anyway.

Even airline lounges let you use the lounge the previous day "unofficially" if youre eligible.

If you’re leaving out of BKK and have no checked in bags you can get a mobile boarding pass up the day before your flight so you can stamp out of Thailand before your visa expires.

Then you stay in one of the transit hotels, lounges or rough it in the terminal.

You’re technically still in Thailand but not officially.

Suggestion would be to be returned to where they boarded the flight and use the time to get the proofs required.

baht in your wallet.

If you have a 500 EUR note just show that as your proof 😉

if you're asked, cash.

And it can be in any currency. EURs are the best for transporting that amount - especially if you got a 500 EUR note.
