I am guessing that just like Everything else here it depends on the office. I did my first extension in Ubon. No one asked about where the money came from. And it did not come from abroad. It was from my wife’s account to mine. Zero questions about that at all.
It’s a little bit to get it going but it’s great. You have to complete a form authorizing them to open your mail, have it notarized and then snail mail it to them. Maybe that’s changed I set it up 4-5 years ago.
I pay about $200 a year and they establish a Florida address for you. All my mail goes there. They will scan it, forward it or just shred it if you know it’s garbage. It’s all done through their website or app.
I used USPS several times. My kids send me stuff and I have a mail forwarding service. Always fast and never had any issues. Last one was 9 days for a small package like your talking about. I think about $20.
Not much. Restaurants are take out only. Malls are closed. Even in Big C or Lotus certain sections are closed. Apparently kids clothes are not “essential items”.
Not sure what you are looking for but if it’s not a bank or supermarket it’s probably closed.
I was in the middle of f’n nowhere. Emerald triangle area. Not too far from Laos or Cambodia. We had 3BB. I opted for the 300 MBPS and it was always higher. I would speed test and often get closer to 400. Up to 1000 was available if I remember right.
It’s been said already…. But I did it myself as well. Owner gave me copies of all the pertinent documents and his ID and I just went and did it. No issues at all.
I’m on a one year contract with about 6 months left, we’ll be done somewhere around the end of the year or early Jan.
When it’s done I have to turn in my work permit. What is required to do that? The Thai “sponsor company” I’m working for had never had any foreign employees before me and it’s been a real shit show so far.
If it matters I’m on a Non O extension of stay based on marriage to a Thai.
