Dear everyone, can anyone know where in BKK I can find a Pfizer or modern vaccine for me (foreigner in Thailand), and then the vac certificate accepted by European countries? Maybe this question is not suitable in this community, or someone has asked the question before. Thank you!

TLDR : Answer Summary
A user is seeking information on where to get a Pfizer or Moderna vaccine in Bangkok as a foreigner, including how to obtain a vaccination certificate that is accepted by European countries. Various comments suggest that Moderna is typically available through hospitals, while Pfizer might be accessible through expat programs, but choices may be limited based on availability.

Hi, if we enter Thailand on a 30 day visa then go to Cambodia for 14 days will the thialand pass still be valid and would we have to do PCR test within 72 hrs of entering Thailand again and test and go again in Thailand. Thanks in advance

@Bryan ******
you need to apply for a new Thailand Pass each time you enter the country and most meet all requirements for entry including testing and quarantine

Moderna can pretty much only be bought through hospitals, they started selling about 6 months, and most doses are expected to be administered early next year. People are selling their doses on some groups as they probably got tired of waiting. Each dose has a queue number for the particular hospital. You'd probably want a low queue number. Pfizer might be available for you through expat vaccination programs depending on your risk level. You don't get much choice, you can accept the dose they have for you or decline.

yes it's the link from Wannikea. Depending on the province you are in there may be another place to register with the province as well.

I am on a long-stay visa but might be ended soon so I am also looking for an extension to get the mRNA jabs. When I came into Thailand, there was still no vac yet. Thank you for your kind replies. And what do you mean by "I can accept the dose they have for me or decline"? Thank you!

@Will *****
I mean you don't have much choice, you can accept what they have available for you or decline, you may not get another chance through this program. It's free btw.

thank you very much!! So through this “Registration for the FIRST dose

of the COVID-19 vaccination for foreign residents”, they may have different brands, and I cannot choose. Correct? It is not spurred by US donation, is this?

This program has been running since August, I got called 3 weeks later in the far north. Doubled dosed with Pfizer 8 weeks ago.

@Wi**
if you are getting it through the public programme they typically offer you a vaccine and you don't get to choose which one. I think the current options are AZ+AZ, AZ+Pfizer or Pfizer+Pfizer. They were doing Sinovac+AZ but announced a month ago they were stopping Sinovac when supplies ran out.

There was a specific expat vaccination programme spurred by a US government donation that was Pfizer+Pfizer, if you get on this you should get Pfizer. That's what I got.

If you buy one of the Moderna spots privately, you'll get Moderna. It could be a wait until you get it, but this depends, you might get it soon. A lot of people bought a Moderna spot back earlier in the year but then got Pfizer in the mean time and so there are a lot selling them, typically at cost (around 1,650/shot IIRC).

do you know the official web or site for my application for this expat vaccination program which is sponsored by US donations? Is it the one below which was kindly mentioned by Wannikea? Thank you!

@Will *****
I gave you the link to it. This is the Ministry of Foreign Affairs program for expats vaccinations.
