I have an LTR visa now but I will definitely pass that on to anyone needing assistance.

When I first got here I asked a few agents to do a marriage visa extension and they all said “sorry we don’t do marriage, only retirement extensions. Marriage extensions are just too difficult.”

It’s not a direct answer to your query but it’s a small insight. They obviously changed their stance but charge more. I’m guessing the kick back to immigration is probably higher as well.

Different city but my branch was Pattaya and my extension was being done in BKK and it was not an issue.

In my experience they will only direct bill for inpatient care. I could be mistaken but that’s what I remember. I’ve done it at BKK hospital Pattaya

yes. I did exactly this for multiple years. Put in the 800K in a fixed account and let it sit. I got interest every year. When I had to make a transaction the day I did my papers for immigration I would take some of the interest out.

I would guess only the branch can truthfully answer that.

When you prove your funds to immigration you have to get two letters from the branch stating your account is valid and the account balance/statement showing the last 3 months. So it’s on them if they will do that or not.

Also the updated bank book with a transaction either that day or within 24 hours depending on the office.

I picked mine up last Friday 26th.

I didn’t have to submit anything once initially “approved” because I was in country and did not leave. So I did not have to update a TDAC or even a 90 day report. However, I still had to send my files like I had left and returned. So they still reviewed the file to see if there were any updates or changes. (Hopefully I’m explaining that clearly). Anyway, it was only a day later they updated my stage to be able to book my appointment.
