the extension and re entry represent what the immigration officer advised me to do. I am not planning on being here more than 6 months of the year and will purchase a condo on my second trip. I am hopefully opening a Thai bank account this trip and hopefully getting the money into the account quickly. My non O is retirement visa. It sounds like I can do a re entry come back in under my visa and then do a one year extension if the money is in my account soon. I never thought it would end up this confusing 555 thank you so much for your input

I have, let's just say I keep enough in a specific bank that I get a really good exchange rate and they pay all fees on both ends.

I get the best rate using the ATM and my bank pays all my fees, so he might be good here.

It's still scary with such a short window.

I think you watch to much fake Fox news rotflmao. There was no one taking advantage of us. He is the one that made the trade deals with Canada that he said were horrible. The economy had to be fixed from his last stay in the Whitehouse which is what Biden did. There are no gender transformation studies for grades 3-4. Republicans shot down their own bill that had bipartisan support for immigration under Biden. Basically everything you are putting out there is a lie.

I don't think I would recommend anyone to visit the US right now with everything going on with the government. People are being refused entry, most of the world hates us right now. It's a very sad time for the US. i suggest anyone thinking about visiting do some research first. It's also becoming a hassle for US citizens returning to the US. US citizens are being deported from other countries. It's a huge mess.
