I don't think I would recommend anyone to visit the US right now with everything going on with the government. People are being refused entry, most of the world hates us right now. It's a very sad time for the US. i suggest anyone thinking about visiting do some research first. It's also becoming a hassle for US citizens returning to the US. US citizens are being deported from other countries. It's a huge mess.

I heard the 60 day exemption has gone back to 30 days so you might want to double check.

I would be careful and check the taxes situation if you are there six months or more just to be on the safe side.

After reading all the comments I think it depends where you exit from. CNX still stamps out.

This post makes zero sense. If you are in BKK already then you already entered the country visa exempt.

If you are going to do it remember to get your IDP before coming and remember they drive on the wrong side of the road here lol. I finally drove here (I normally just use a scooter) and I just have to say it is extremely weird to drive on the opposite side of the road and from the opposite side of the car. Luckily for me it was all country driving and my Thai friend did the city portions of the drive. I would recommend flying, taking the train or a buss.
