I'm currently overdue on my 90-day report. If I leave the country and re-enter (after getting the re-entry permit) what happens?

As you know, you have to submit a TM47 every 90 days. Has anyone been in a situation where they forgot to do this? My deadline was three days ago. There is a fee of 2kthb for failure to report. I wonder if they make me pay this at the airport?

There is also a mention that in case of arrest the penalty increases to 4kthb. Could there be a problem at the airport due to this? Is it better to report late and pay 2k or not report when I fly out in a month?

Edit.

You are all wrong. I was just at immigration. Unnecessarily. This 90-day reporting requirement only applies to long-term visas for a minimum of one year.

Finally, i went to immigration on 25th with 2 escorts ,

first stop: where is your hotel contract? Although I brought letter and TM30. I did alot of calls emails, officer talked to the duty manger as they need his ID ! Who refused to sends as hotel policy rejects that!!

Second stop: As my previous stamp’s showed i did my 60 days extension outside Bangkok, i didn’t get 90 days report paper. So how to get that for 60 days! I paid fine 800! Then change my address in the system!

Third stop: arrive to N1 officer desks , she said your last done outside Bangkok via agent, you continue with agent! I said I changed my address to do it in Bangkok and done officially , they said No can’t and returned my documents!

So again , i start to look for an agency , who said we will do don’t worry in Bangkok, i felt ok and

————-

On 27th May , I waited from 10:00 am to 2:30 pm , then officer tell me the same go agent , outside Bangkok. Also the point that no photo records in the system since i entered Thailand as tourist.

Rejected again .

The agency asked 10000 to do .

I spent until now for letters, fine, transportation, escorting, service charge around 18000! Imagine for visa cost 1900 only.

I am sharing my tough experience to you fiends , and thanks for all who ask about what happened with me.

Agents are shortcut if you need to be in relax! . Many agents asked before 8000-10000 , know i said if did that better that all tension tiredness over thinking and lose of more money!

I expect to receive my new extension next week 🤞🏻.

Thanks

Hi guys not sure if this is alraady being asked.. sorry .

What happens if someone have to go to immigration to get covid extension but on those days they cannot go because of quarantine due to covid?

Do they need to pay overstay? Do they understand the situation and can go when it's finished the quarantine or how does it work?

Please if anyone know would be helpful

Some feedback.

Today doing my 90 day report (thai wife) at Pak Kret, I copped a 2000 baht fine ! I understood the 90 days would restart from the date I extended my visa. Apparently not, it is a regular 90 day cycle irrespective of the visa extension between cycles. I had completed all other 90 day reports on time.

So don't assume your visa extension date restarts the clock on your 90 day report.

I've just found my 90 day report and found out that I was supposed to report on 6th Aug 21. Completely slipped my mind! How much is the fine and where can I pay it?

My mom has been on covid19 extension since late last. However, this time the officer asked for her 90 days and asked for a 2,000 Baht fine by telling her that she missed the 90 days. Is this fine legitimate?

Immigration online services have been down for quite some time now. I need to do my 90 day report 23 March (due date)...

Anybody have an idea what the fine is for "forgetting" to report. I'm way down south and don't really want to return to Prechup do do the damn thing manually as their service is down.

Thank you.

Quick one regarding TM30 - do you need this for all extensions in Thailand? I plan to do a normal 30-day extension on TR then 60-day COVID extension but I haven't filed a TM30 since leaving quarantine 6 weeks ago as I forgot the rule change in 2019/2020.

Therefor can I just turn up for the extensions and pay the 800-900 fee or do I explicitly need to self file on an appointment prior?

Thanks all
