Will missing my first 90-day report after a DTV visa approval cause future problems in Thailand?

I got my DTV visa approved earlier this year. I missed my first 90 day report at immigration by two weeks. I’m am aware there will be a 2000b fine, however is going to be a problem in the future?

Has anyone left Thailand after 180 days and THEN did the first 90 day report after coming back?

Thanks in advance

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user seeks advice regarding potential issues after missing their first 90-day immigration report for a DTV visa by two weeks, as well as the procedure for reporting after leaving and re-entering Thailand. Community responses suggest that missing the report may only result in a fine, but typically does not impact future entries, as the 90-day reporting resets upon leaving the country. The initial report should generally be done in person for a DTV visa, while subsequent reports may potentially be done online, depending on specific circumstances.

Every time you enter the 90 day reporting resets itself and the past ones … are history i assume.

the reports are history, but for missing reports there still might be a fine when you visit an immigration office.

Forget the 90 days at you never interact with immigration only when you need a residence certificate, otherwise never

It looks like you are advising people to ignore rules everywhere.

That is bad advice and also against the rules of this facebook group, but I guess you also want to ignore those rules.

TM47 is just an obligation, you can be fined when visiting an immigration office, but also in case you get involved with police for some reason.

Allthough the TM47 might look useless, it just is a rule of the country where you are a guest and guests should behave themselves and not ignore every rule like you want.

At the bottom of the TM.47 form it's written: "The fine of Overdue Notification is not exceeding 5000 Baht". Thats why I'm using the calendar function of my phone to remind me of the 90 days notification πŸ˜‰

I plan to leave at the 180 days. Once I come back then and do the 90s days, that won’t be a problem?

From my understanding the first 90 days for DTV need to be done at immigration office, the times after that I can report the 90 days online

It will reset each time you leave Thailand and each first time after coming back you will need to do it in person. I think online applies mostly on people extending and staying in Thailand.

Nothing will happen. Don't even mention it. They don't care at border immigration

Anonieme deelnemer 808 At the border it will be no problem, it might be lead to a fine the next time you have to visit an immigration office for some reason.

In Bangkok best to do it by mail. Saves that long hike out to Chaengwatthana

Yes, it's each first time per entry. After leaving Thailand and back, it will be in person again. I'm not quite sure what's about people extending in Thailand though; if online is available for them or not.

Anonieme deelnemer 595 When you extend in country, you can do the second, third and eventually when you were too early before also the fourth online.

If you leave and come back the 90 days resets. You would then only need to do the 90 days after 90 days consecutively in country - proviso 2 weeks before or 1 week after.

Yes. So if I did one in person. Then I left country and came back. That next one has to be in person or by mail too.
